Laser Marking on Plastics

A variety of processes can be used to produce marks on plastics, including layer by layer paint removal on multicoated painted plastics which reveals a color under the paint coat, fine ablation for multicolor plastics which reveals a deeper layer of plastic, and etching on plastic which vaporizes the surface and leaves a contrasting mark.
